Our course is well maintained and enjoyed throughout the year when weather permits. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, this public course is a great place to test your skills. The championship course has been rated by players as one of the most gorgeous, lush, scenic golf courses around.

Located between the White Mountains and the beautiful High Sierra in Eastern California, with its rich green picturesque fairways and water on all but two holes, you won’t be disappointed with the scenery. Bishop Country Club offers practice bunkers, lighted driving range, chipping area along with beautiful putting greens and on course professionals to help you with your play and any level. Come Tee off at Bishop Country Club where it opens earlier and stays open later as the weather permits.

Built in 1963 with a total of 6,595 yards, we offer a par of 71 for the course (36 on the front, 35 on the back) and a rating of 71 with a slope of 130; and of course, we are a member of both the Northern California Golf Association and the PGA.

This course features 6,595 yards of golf from the longest tees, has a slope rating of 130 on Rye grass. Course was designed by Joe Williams and was built in 1963. Steve Shibley manages the course as the Golf Professional. Bishop Country Club is a member of both the Northern California Golf association and the PGA.
